Greatest Hits: Fast Feet and Familiar Faces

(Part of my “Greatest Hits” series, celebrating families I’ve photographed over the years.)

I first photographed this family back in 2016. These two boys were on the move! I recall glancing at their ages in my notes and quietly swapping out my memory card for a faster one before we began. Boys are boys, after all. Here is a link from that session.

Since then, I’ve had the joy of photographing them several more times, including an extended family session. It’s been wonderful watching these boys grow up — still full of energy, but now with that mix of confidence and humor that makes family sessions so much fun.

Their home sessions often include a few photos with the wife’s brother, which makes each shoot feel even more personal and connected. Every time I photograph them, I’m reminded of how family isn’t just who you live with, but who you laugh with.
