Mini Shoot Agreement
BOOKING FEE
A session booking fee is due upon submitting this agreement to secure your chosen date and time. This initial fee covers:
A 25-minute photography session.
The photographer’s time and talent on-location, as well as digital post-processing and image editing.
A private proofing gallery featuring 10 fully edited images available within two (2) weeks of your session.
RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATIONS
Weather: If severe weather impacts your selected Saturday, the session will automatically move to the designated Sunday rain date at the agreed time. If weather prevents shooting on both Saturday and Sunday, you may apply your deposit toward a future date or receive a full refund of your session deposit.
Client Cancellations: If you need to cancel your session for non-weather reasons, session fees are non-refundable.
SESSION REQUESTS
Devices: No cameras, camcorders, or recording devices (including cell phone cameras) are permitted during the session without prior written agreement.
Attendees: Only the subject(s) of the session and their parent(s)/guardian(s) should be present at the session unless prior arrangements have been made.
Punctuality: Your session begins strictly at the agreed-upon time. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your start time to allow for last-minute prep, changing, and relaxing. Late arrivals will shorten your overall session time.
RE-SHOOTS & SALES
Re-shoots: There are no re-shoots for mini sessions.
All Sales Final: Due to the custom nature of custom photography services, all sales are final.
PAYMENT & PRICING STRUCTURE
Session Booking Fee: Payment is processed immediately upon clicking the submit button at the bottom of this form to lock in your date.
Image & Product Orders: Any digital image collections, prints, or products are purchased separately when your online gallery goes live. The remaining balance for selected products will be due at the time of order placement.
Payment Methods: Payments are processed securely via Stripe (credit card).
Processing: Digital files and product orders will not be processed or delivered until payment in full is received.
PROOFING & PRINT ORDERS
Your password-protected online proofing gallery will be active for two (2) weeks following publication.
Additional gallery hosting beyond the two-week window is available for $20 per additional 2 days.
All print and product orders are subject to Illinois sales tax, as required by law.
COPYRIGHT & PENALTY
It is illegal to copy, scan, screenshot, alter, filter, or otherwise steal any image created by Hop Skip Photography. This includes 'sneak peek' images, proofing gallery images, blog posts, social media uploads, and physical prints.
Unauthorized use or capture of images will result in an invoice for the full digital image cost for EACH stolen file at current retail pricing.
MODEL RELEASE
For valuable consideration received, I hereby grant Kelly Bennema (Photographer) and Hop Skip Photography the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs of me and/or my minor children for editorial, trade, advertising, portfolio, and any other lawful purpose in any format or medium. I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product or marketing copy. I agree that the Photographer owns the copyright to all images created and waive any claims based on usage, including invasion of privacy or libel.
