Snow. Who knew a photo shoot could be so much fun in the winter time? I absolutely loved shooting this way. Typically, I dread a big snow storm, but I found myself hoping for a big blast.

You would think that a photo shoot with an extended family would be all chaos and disorder. True, there might be moments where it’s all crazy, but that usually means everyone is having a great time!

Fall to me means “Photography Season.” Time to make a plan, make to do lists, and check tasks off. And this season, I wanted to give my website a face lift. Which means that I should have less trouble posting photo shoots.

Look how well this mom coordinated outfits without her family looking too matchy-matchy. Looks like she used flannel shirts as a guide on what colors to dress the other family members.

Take an old slip and some tulle, and you have a fun dress-up dress. My friend wanted me to take some photos as a memento. She won’t be that little, and she won’t want to play pretend forever.

I threw this contest in order to test a theory of mine. That I could get more genuine expressions from a high school senior girl if I brought her friend along.
