What Makes ‘em Smile?

As I’m looking at the above image of those three smiley girls I remembered what was making them smile. As you can imagine, when shooting families it takes a bit of effort to get everyone looking at the camera or thereabouts. I’ve figured out a system that works quite well. And that is bringing my husband to family shoots. He’s usually behind the camera jumping up and down, acting silly. I don’t know the specifics of what he’s doing since I’m taking the photos, I just know it works. And it’s great fun working with him.
