This photo marks a few firsts. This little guy is celebrating his first birthday. He is about to take his first taste of yummy birthday cake. And this is my first time ever shooting a "Cake Smash." Talking it over with his mom, we felt a picnic-like setting would capture the moment so well. Fortunately for us, this little fellow thought the whole thing was a good idea too.
