Warmer weather (most of the time) around here means the beginning of the Downers Grove Summer Nights Classic Car Show. A free event where classic cars line up and down Main Street in Downers Grove on Friday nights for everyone to admire. The car featured here has made it's apperance there and has collected awards from numerous events. Now, I'll be honest with you, I don't really know much about cars or carshows. I just think this car is a beautiful work of art.
Although automotive photography isn't the target of my business, I discovered I enjoyed taking the time to capture different angles and reflections. Most of this shoot was taken on a weekday, in the afternoon, at parking lot of a business. Even on this ordinary day, people were coming up to the car to admire it and to ask the owner questions.
Ah this all makes me want to take the family there tonight, grab some dinner, and take a evening stroll down Main Street.
